Potholes, like broccoli, are the Devil's business

First 100 mile training ride of the year on Sunday (104 miles actually but who's counting? er.... well, I am, obviously). Went down into the Cotswolds to do some hills. The word of the day was 'potholes', that's 'potholes'. Try to use it in a sentence that doesn't start with "Deary, deary me, another crater in the road, how bothersome. I nearly went under that lorry but mustn't grumble. I do hope those nice chaps at the council aren't working so hard drinking tea that they can't find time to ....". It's actually quite tricky.
